Sorry I haven’t got a policy to share or any experience of this however there is a great chapter ‘Remove Vacation Policy’ on this in ‘No Rule Rules’ the Netflix book – the key takeaways are listed as
– leaders must model big vacation taking
– set and reinforce context to guide employee behaviour
– freedom from vacation policy adds value – even if no one uses it
– give freedom to get responsibility
Its a really good read and very interested to see how it had worked for them!
