The return-to-office debate is not how many days we want to come back but for what #purpose it’s better to work from the office or home.
Lot of surveys have clearly stated employees want to come back for teambuilding, social connections, collaboration but I do not see and read a lot about what companies are planning to achieve that goal.
Leadership and management teams do not seem prepare to explain to their team WHY return-to-office is positive.
In some cases we have redesigned the workplace with cool collaborative open spaces, beautiful colours, etc.
But what if the company culture does not embrace agility, collaboration, teambuilding, innovation, etc
The debate should be about reset mindsets, learn new behaviors, build workplace with purpose, engagement, motivation…not if we will come back 2 or 3 days.

2 days for those that wish to as we have all been working remotely. We will close one of the two offices on a Friday and encourage everyone to work from home on a Friday. We are a prop tech org which means that we CAN all work from home easily. We are working on the H&S for staff and comma to ensure that we do as much as possible to support this decision and not unwittingly exclude anyone working at home. I would be very I interested to see what others are doing too!
