Does anyone have any recommendation for an internal recommendation scheme. Individuals would like to comment about a colleague who has done a good job, or recognise a job well done. It would be good to have this on line so we can share these. many thanks in advance. Gillian

Hey Gillian! We use a company called ‘LifeWorks’ which is almost like a social media site for the workplace, you can recognise your colleagues, add pictures, celebrate birthdays and work anniversaries etc. These are then displayed on everyone’s news feed for others to comment. It also doubles as a perk site where staff can get money off and cash back from different online retailers! Hope that helps 🙂

    Hi Gillian,

We use a company called Peoplevalue who run our internal engagement site – everyone can send a thank you to anyone and much like Rosie, it links to a notification wall etc.  We also use ClearReview for our continuous performance system and that incorporates a feedback function which is used a lot

but that is one to one feedback as opposed to public recognition.

I’ve used a number of providers across my career. Without doubt i’ve found Reward Gateway the best…

Hi.  We use a company called ‘River’ – River Software (

They’ve created a brilliant Reward and Recognition App/Web which is working really well!  Happy to give you contact names if you wanted.

We’ve just relaunched our scheme and we use a microsoft teams channel as this is the tool we use for internal communications and we’ve found will reach the most.

The channel has a microsoft form attached, the colleague completes the form which is based around our company values.  The feedback is posted in the teams channel so everyone is notified, and also allows other colleagues to join in the celebration and post replies which is working really well.

The recipient also receives an email to alert them that they have received feedback.

We have something similar as Rachel. We built a Appreciation Board on SharePoint. An employee can simply select one of the four card designs (‘You’re a Star, Kudos, Thumbs Up or Shout Out’) write a thank you in 200 characters and post it on the board. The employee receives an email to check out the board as there’s something to see for them. The full Appreciation Board is open and visible for all employees.
