I’m interested to know if any of you have experience with PM technology, such as Clear Review, or Culture Amp? I’m looking for a solution for a client. Have seen both products demonstrated, but would be good to get feedback from people who have used them, or suggestions of other solutions?

      Many thanks

        Hi Jo,

We use Clear Review for our continuous perf management processes and have done for the last 4 years and in my opinion it is a nice bit of software.  Easy to use, intuitive and easily customisable.  We also use the engagement module, which allows us to do custom built surveys and also pulse surveys.  And I have just added Advanced Analytics to help us dive deeper into the quality of conversations and check ins for example.

The key though we have found over the last four years is that you have to get the culture change right in the business around Performance management otherwise it doesn’t matter how shiny and lovely the software is.  That is a journey to be fair we are still on!  It is helped by the fact our leadership team are fully bought in to it but still we have areas where engagement with the principles of continuous perf mgt is low .

Happy to talk more if you need

          Hi all

I would agree with Rachel wholeheartedly.  We have used Clear Review for the past 4 years and it is a very capable and easy to use piece of software.  The customer experience is very good too and the product continues to evolve rather than be static.  We found the introduction of the software the easy part.  People focused on the ‘how’ of the software but had to spend a lot of time on the ‘why’.  Some managers really get it but in other areas we are still struggling to get engagement up.  Poor managers who don’t want to change will remain so regardless of the software.

As with Rachel, happy to chat further.
