Hey Everyone!
As part of our pulse engagement survey this quarter, a number of colleagues have suggested the introduction of a dedicated mental health day to support wellbeing.
I’m really curious about the idea!
As a company we are currently rolling out mental health training for our managers in addition to opening it up to up to all colleagues who would like to volunteer to become a mental health first aider and ally, with up to 12 selected.
It would be great to hear whether any of you have successfully implemented something like ‘mental health days’ or similar and how this works in practise?
Interesting from an EACH perspective…long term I’d hope colleagues should be empowered to know they can take the day if they need it (and not need a dedicated day to have permission- hello parent/child)… but don’t think we’re culturally quite there yet!
Any tips or insights on similar initiatives and how you also influenced the senior leadership team with a business case too?
Thanks,
Liv
