      Good Morning!

      We are looking at ways to create more awareness and resources for mental health across our business. We’ve looked at the MHFA training and alternative ways to create raise awareness with the aim to not only support ongoing MH but to support with the new norms following COVID-19 and beyond. We are always looking for innovative ideas and wondered what other companies are doing, what is the view on best practice?. Do people have a number of their people team/ managers holding the MHFA qualification or is the better approach to raise awareness and signpost to professional help?



        Hi Cheyenne,

        If you have people internally who are passionate about MH then it’s a great idea to support them with training etc so that you have some internal champions, but we would always encourage the approach of raising awareness and signposting to external resources and making sure your people can own and feel in control of their health and wellbeing. Internally you could focus on helping your managers create the right environment by having great conversations.
