Hi Marcelle,
I’m assuming you mean happiness in the context of work? A few of our clients are currently measuring work happiness with one CEO who sends a WhatsApp message to a sample of people. Another sends a smiley face survey every Friday it says “How has your week been?” with the faces to click. But then they ask “What would have made it better? Why was it so good?” etc.. so that they get a better insight into how they can improve the employee experience (the senior leadership team reviews the stats and verbatim comments as their first agenda item on a Tuesday morning catchup). They created the survey themselves with Typeform but there are lots of apps we would recommend but this resource also might also help.
Obviously, as employers, we can’t be responsible for everyone’s personal happiness, but we’ve noticed that the clients who are having a better time at the moment are the ones that get regular feedback and do something with it – even if it’s sometimes just empathising with how people are feeling.
Let us know how you get on!
