Hello, we are looking to uplift our current Maternity and Paternity policies (we currently offer the minimum). I’d be very interested to hear what other companies offer, especially if you’re in the tech or finance industry.
We are a fintech / challenger bank and offer after 26 weeks service 13 weeks full pay, 13 weeks half, then dropping down to SMP. We do the same for adoption, shared parental etc.
we are in a different sector to you – health and social care. for a lot of years we only offered statutory but uplifted about 3 years ago to 2 weeks full normal pay for paternity and a fixed £2,000 payment in our maternity scheme which was to benefit the lower paid staff rather than a % of salary.
