      I think we now know every bad HR and L&D system out there, but we are really struggling to find really good ones! Ideally with support or contact in the UK who is easy to get hold of

      We want an end to end HR solution which is really engaging for people to use and future ready, eg chatbot functionality

      And an L&D platform which doesn’t just give us 18,000 courses, but allows us to offer personalised learning journeys based on mandatory training, competency related training and specific industry (social housing) knowledge

      It doesn’t feel like it should be hard, but is proving to be! Who loves their HR or L&D system and service and if so, what is it please?

        In my experience, you can have the most capable system in the world and poorly implement it, or be constrained by other factors such as poor data or lack of job role/profiles which may be out of your control. The utopia of all the stars aligning is rare although you may be lucky where you work. I hope so 🙂

        As you outline, I believe if you focus on the user experience, can deliver a more personalised or tailored offering and be open minded about bringing the outside-in into your learning platform then you will be onto a winner, with whatever tech you land on.

            Dear Julia, interesting topic! We use at Swiss Re LearningOne, which is our Learning Experience System (LXP) supported by EdCast. When we did the request for proposal process, EdCast and Degreed stood out. We are still in early days when it comes to AI and personalized learning offerings, yet getting slowly there.               Hi Julia

              We are using Looop for learning (recommended here!) and it’s excellent. It’s a DIY learning platform where  everyone can share content.

              We have a learning bot (called Chino!) integrated and he pings people and reminds them to do things!

              It also has excellent data and analytics and tells us who has opened emails, what parts of the campaign they’ve engaged with and not etc.

              We use Bamboo HR and Looop integrates with this (via Azure).
