      Hi all

      I just wondered if anyone had any experience on employing someone from the Philippines. We are looking to bring a Senior Engineer over but I have been told there is an addendum we need to sign regarding termination of contract and paying for his body to be transported home if he were to die. I have also been told you can get insurance out to cover it.

      I am struggling to find any information on this, can anyone help or recommend someone to speak to.

        Hi Laura, I would have thought if you were hiring someone in the UK on a UK contract that you just comply with your standard terms? They would need a UK work permit etc, so not sure how their home country would dictate a rule like this?

        Sorry I can’t help, but have never heard of this.
