Great question! Most of the clients we speak to are avoiding changing contractual terms as things are changing so quickly and instead are adopting a common-sense approach with their employees. The biggest shift is adopting flexible working principles. If this becomes a more permanent approach (we hope so) then future terms and conditions can be stripped right back to not mention place of work, hours etc.
We love this approach from Reddit who have restructured employees’ salaries in the US to bring them in line with its international offices’ pay structures. Employees will now be paid based on their job rather than their location.
