I’m looking for ways my organisation can more effectively tap into the cognitive diversity (that is, diversity of thought) at our disposal. My main aims are to build awareness of the concept and its value, and to provide tools for our people to harness diverse perspectives to become more effective teams.
How aware are people in your organisation about the value of having teams of diverse thinkers? How could we most effectively build awareness of the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of cognitive diversity? Have you set up any initiatives to help connect diverse perspectives to solve complex problems? How can we build a culture which embraces cognitive diversity?
