      Hi
My organisation aspires to transform our job descriptions, making them more attractive to candidates. Historically, JDs have been very ‘wordy’ and complex, generally as a result of having to go through a robust job evaluation process.

Has anyone recently undertaken a similar exercise or come across / used any best practice job descriptions that they would be willing to share?

      Many thanks!

We are also looking at our job profiles, so anything to share would be much appreciated

Hi all, we have successfully piloted Textio: http://www.textio.com to write attractive job descriptions (recruitment marketing). Originally, we were concerned that our JDs were gender-biased, therefore the Textio pilot. Adoption by Line Managers has been high.

We have also been trying to move away from listing tasks! A typical JD now includes:

          – About “Swiss Re” and the unit

          – About the Role

          – About the Team

          – About You

          All the best! Jasmine
